Dataverse disappearing act?

I'm new to O365, and I'm trying to use power automate, and store some data in dataverse.  I've signed up for the trial, and created a table to use to store data.

laurentree_0-1635004441231.png

This all went very smoothly.  I added the Connection for Dataverse into Power Automate and it says connected, and everything looks great.  However, whenever I go into power automate and add a step, there is no "add row" or anything else related to Dataverse.  I then noticed that if, while in Power Automate, I click on the Data -> Tables, it takes me to Power Apps, and shows I have no Environments.  Which is weird, because on my other tab, I'm in Power Apps, looking at an environment with tables.  I've tried restarting browser thinking it was a cache issue, but it doesn't seem to be.

It currently appears that the only way I can even view my Dataverse Table is to have the exact URL of the table from the first time I created it (luckily I kept it).  There seems to be no combination of buttons I can press on the UI to access the table.  I can't even guess what I'm doing wrong at this point.

I thought dataverse was supposed to be easier, but I think spinning up my own sql server may have been less tricky.

You will need to go to make.powerapps.com.

1.select your environment

2. Go to the Data tab make sure your new table is there.

3. To be able to view the dataverse connector in power automate you need to go to solutions, create a new solution and from inside the solution choose Add new cloud flow and then you will be able to see the dataverse connector actions.

4.Then to be able to view your table in an app you can simply create a new Model Driven App from inside the solution as well.

Hello @Anonymous,

There were multiple ways we can able to easily achieve this.

1. Navigate to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com then click on Environments there you can see complete environment details. Just open the one which you wanted and click open Environment to view the same.

2. Go to https://make.powerapps.com click on Environments and see the environments there too.

For more DataVerse videos you can subscribe 🙂

@rampprakashThank you for showing me the admin panel for power apps, I had not used that before.  And with that, I do see my Environments, and can reach them again.

laurentree_0-1635035172017.png

And @Mira_Ghaly I went through those steps, and even though I have these environments, when I go to Power Automate -> Solutions, it says I need to create a new environment (picture below), even though I clearly have an environment.  It also says I don't have permission to create a database in this environment.  I'm going to read more on what the purpose of Solutions are, but as of right now, I still don't understand why my Power Automate can't connect to dataverse.

I'm the admin of the account, and have Power Apps per user plan, Power Automate, and 365 Business Premium.  What am I missing?  Thank you again,

Hello @Anonymous,

You are trying to see the ENVIRONMENT in Default organization where ENVIRONMENT not Available, click on CREATE New Environment so that it will automatically create a back end for the same.

I'm unable to create a new environment, it says (pic below) You've reached your limit of 1 trial environment.  How do I use this trial environment?

laurentree_0-1635049079225.png

I thought the way that the trial environment worked is that you create an "Environment", and then added Tables to the Dataverse inside of that environment.  But I created an Environment, then added tables, and now I'm not able to use it in anything.

I also don't understand by default, how if I have Dataverse enabled, created Environments, why I'm not even able to see Dataverse in flow.

@Anonymous

Did you try to create a new solution through make.powerapps.com without creating a new environment?

I found out why all of my resources kept disappearing.  Every time I opened a new tab, it defaulted back to the wrong Environment.  And they both have nearly the same name, so I didn't notice.  Once I made sure every page I go to is on the correct environment, the solution provided works.  Thank you both for all of the help.
