hi guys can you kindly assist me been trying to figure out dataverse reltionship but im struggling , reason im struggling is because project that im working on doesnt need automation relationship , not manually looking up to the other table , please assist how can i achieve that , let  say for example i have  student and teacher table , and student table have these attributes , studid , name , surname , and teacher table have teacherid , name surname and  so when student capture his details , the relationship must automatically assign a studentid as fk on teacher table

Trying to better understand the scenario - You want to be able to create a Student record and automatically assign it a random teacher from your pool of teachers?

You would first have to confirm if that is indeed your requirement - I would assume grade level, the teacher's student count and max students should all play a factor.  

You also have to ensure the relationship you need. Is it student to teacher a N:1 relationship or a N:N relationship?

I would probably create a power automate flow to create the teacher assignment for the student. It won't be an instant update but you'll be able to configure all your criteria in a low-code way in power automate for assigning a teacher to a student. Note that for an N:1 relationship you will just update the student record's lookup to the teacher record.

For a N:N relationship you will have to use the "Relate Rows" action to make that relationship once you're picked the right teacher.

in my senario i have two forms screen , one for student and one for a teacher , so when  the student capture data , the teacher's table should auto reference to student table , so that one a teacher capture their form the form from that is linked from student table would reference the teachers row  , which mean for every new student being captured on student screen , must be assigned to the teacher table that will be captured on teachers form

I’m still not quite understanding but I’ll take a guess -

1. you enter student info. You need to assign a teacher.

2. You have a Teacher (Lookup) field. This is defined as a Many to One relationship in Dataverse (N:1). You make the field required as a teacher ‘must’ be assigned.

3. When you open the Teacher record, you have to show a subgrid with related records. This is the relationship you created with the Students so it shows all assigned students.
