environment is not available

Hi experts.

I have registered a new trial D365 with my account tenant:

adminabc@xxxx.onmicrosoft.com

After 365 instance names ABC is created successfully. However, i'm not able to see a new environment in powerapps immediately.

I'm not able to do anything at that time, therefore I left it there for few hours and surprisingly there is a new ABC environment with same D365 org in powerapp. I can also see the Model-driven app D365 in PowerApp.

Just for testing, I tried with another account admincdf@xxxx.onmicrosoft.com which is same tenant with above user(adminabc)

I also registered a new free trial CDF d365 instance. And again, I don't see any new CDF environment created in powerapp.

wait for a few minutes I observed that there is new CDF environment is created, but it is only available to see in adminabc PowerApps admin portal.

I'm now stuck in here which the environment is not accessible from admincdf user.

Can you help me clarify?

As per my understanding, D365 is now built as Model-driven app in PowerApps and use CDS as storage. Therefore, Does it take anytime to create a new environment and link D365 into model-driven app? And if so, How the D365(for ex Sale hub) is working while environment is not created yet?

Hi @Anonymous,

But are you sure the CDF Admin has the same user roles as the ABC Admin user? It's worth checking - you can do this in the Microsoft Admin Center.

Regarding environment provisioning - all is described here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/create-environment

If you want to create a CRM environment, you'll have to select the include D365 apps when you create the environment and add a CDS database.

If you want it to be a CDS environment, just skip the add D365 apps part.
