Automatically copies your shifts and Time Off instances from Microsoft Teams Shifts into your Office365 Outlook calendar. Default options are set to check the shifts and Time Off instances once a day.
Needs a "Microsoft Teams", "Office 365 Outlook", "Office 365 User" and "Shifts (Microsoft Teams)" connection. Import the flow and set the value of the CalendarName variable to the name of your calendar into which the shifts/Time Off instances are to be copied. Also, set the value of the TeamName variable to the name of your team from which the shifts/Time Off instances are copied.
First of all thank you for your work.
I was able to test the flow successfully and the flow shows as successfully completed.
The entries are also displayed in my calendar.
But the times are wrong.
Where could the error be here?
@MalteM Thanks a lot for this flow and it works well for me. How can we customize so that it will sync everyone's calendars in the particular teams? Please let me know 🙂
@MalteM I also have this question, did you get any solutions? Regarding if I delete a shift can it also get deleted in outlook? Thank you!
@Anonymous Wrong times may be related to time zone settings. Check them in the 'Create Event' activities. In order to delete events from your calendar when a shift is deleted you would have to use the according trigger. This trigger wasn't published when I created the flow, but maybe I will take a look into it someday.
@Prashant1 Drop the step where I am filtering for your entries only.
@pamv Look at what I told patrick.
Has anybody had any luck with modifying this so all users (MS Teams team members) Time Off (or Shifts) populate one outlook calendar?
and if anybody has successfully figured out the delete from outlook update?
This is a great flow - I’m learning a lot from its set up, just need a little help tweaking g to my uses. Thanks.
I had a breaktrough and got everyone’s shifts to pass to the calendar. However, no user names were associated so it was just a bunch of events with reason code titles. I think I found a way to get their outlook ID to add to the event title in outlook, but I’m not sure because I couldn’t convert it to display name. Any ideas on that part?
how did you get everyone' s to go to one calendar? If you click on the subject line and choose the Office Display name instead of the Outlook it should work for you. It will display however they are setup in your company system. I tried this and it worked for me.
Also - I have a conditional Format for color and added Shifts: to the title of all items that come over to make this easier to spot when things are transferred. Found this works well.
Good day,
I tried to make this flow work but it isn't updating my calendar, Im not sure if I am missing something.
I set the [USER INPUT] to the name of the calendar I created in my O365 account and I set the Team Name to the name of the Team that my Shifts are entered in, the flow runs fine but it doesn't update the calendar.
