Hi All,

Can we run multiple Desktop flows for machine group.

Ex: I have a machine group in that i have more than 1 machine added (let say M1 and M2) and i want to run the flow from both the machines but when i am providing the machine group name in the cloud flow to run and running only M1 is running M2 is not running. are there any conditions?

Hello,

You would need two flows to run at once to use both machines in the machine group. The function of one machine group is to have multiple Desktopflows that are queued (meaning more than 1 flow is trying to be ran) run in another machine whenever one machine is being used. 

So the condition is: you have to run multiple flows in order for both machines to be used. If you use 1 flow, why would there be need of a second one.

How to do this is gonna depend on your trigger and how you customize this. If you have an automatic trigger that triggers only 1 flow, that won't work and you will need a work around. 

But for manual trigger, you can just trigger the flow twice.

Yes, i am having one flow in machine1 and same flow i have in machine2 i need to trigger both the flow in both the machine.

So i am using machine group (added both the machine) and while running provided machine group name which had both the machines names.

But only machine1 flow is getting triggered not the other machine.

Have you set your Machine as a connection for both Flows? If not, this will be your solution.

Yeah, as OkanAT is saying, to have them both run at the same time, you'll need two separate flows that are both pointing at the same Machine Group.

Depends what is the true end goal here.

For example, you can run both PAD flows from one PA flow.

Just add parallel branch and and call PAD in each of the branch.

That works in a scenario the automated proces is such there will never be more than 2 flows running at the same time (e.g. cloud flow is triggered in a managed condition/scheduled etc).

Otherwise as others mentioned, run your cloud flow twice and as long as you used machine group in PAD action you would be fine.

Remember you need two unattended rpa addons if these are unattended runs, otherwise your flows will get queued (that applies to both of the above scenarios)
