Click download link on web page interrupted by pop-up

Hello, 

My current flow looks like this: 

1. Launch new internet explorer (navigating to the website with the download button)

2. Click download link on web page (downloading and saving the data)

3. Close web browser

I am pretty new to Power Automate Desktop. Basically, I try to download a file by using the action "Click download link on web page" and save it in a pre-defined destination. But after the link is clicked and before the file is downloaded, a pop-up appears, which I have to confirm by clicking a button containing "ok". After that the download continues and the file is automatically saved at my pre-defined destination. 

My problem is that I also want to automate the click on the button of the pop up, otherwise I have to manually press the "ok" button every time I run the process. However, as it appears in the middle of the action of downloading and storing the data it is not possible to simply perform the action "Press button on web page". Is there any way to perform a additional button click during the action "Click download link on web page". Is there any solution for that?

Instead of using Click download link on web page, use Press button on web page. Then in the advanced options of the action, make it "Press a button" if a pop-up appears:

This obviously does not actually work the same way as the Click download link on web page action. Instead, you will also need to automate the UI of the "Save As" window of your browser using UI automation actions. But if the pop-up prevents you from properly downloading the file, this is essentially the only way to work around it.

@Agnius Thank you for the tip.

But when I accept the pop-up by using the "Press Button" action, the file is downloaded but no "Save As" appears. It is directly downloaded to the downloads folder. How can I then automate that the file is directly downloaded in a pre-defined folder? (FYI the folder I want to save it in is synched to a SharePoint. So my overall action is download a file and upload it to a SharePoint.)

You will need to adjust your browser settings to make you ask every time on where to download your files to. This will make the Save As dialog appear whenever you download anything.

So I got to implement your solutions. I use Press Button on Webpage now and can also click the Pop-Up with that. Thanks for that! But now I run into troubles automizing the "Save As". When I download a file this pop up in the upper right corner opens: 

I tried to add the "Save As" Button as a UI Element and then click it once it opens. But that does not work. The Flow does not recognize the Button and gives the message "Click failed (failed to get UI element)". Probably the problem is that every "Save As" Button gets a unique ID and therefore when I try to download another document it does not recognize the new Button?

Can you switch to using a different browser that actually makes a proper Save As dialog pop up in a separate window? Chrome usually does that. Much easier to work with that UI.
