Solved: Is there anyone who encounters flow became too slo...

I created a flow that retrieved emails from outlook and made some procedures like reading information from them. It worked very quickly, but now I don't understand it became prolonged. Some possible problems can be a new version of the power automate or outlook indexing.
Can anyone share a possible solution that has experienced this kind of problem? Thank you for all your answers.
My power automate version is 2.22.263.22202 Desktop

I think you are experiencing a (kind of) memory leak.

I've seen this in both UiPath and Power Automate Desktop: the bigger (or prolonged) the loop, the longer it will take after a while. The first 100 or 500 loops are cool, but then performance degradation sets in.

It is my personal conviction that it is not the robot platform so much as it is the fault of Windows. When working with loops Windows is not going to yield the memory back to you in the same speed or quantity if a loop is big enough.

Other times the culprit is that you instantiate a new set of variables in each loop, and that is sure to get Windows to its knees. Think of a loop where you (unintentionally or not) create a new variable on each iteration. After 1000 runs your'll have1000 variables. All you wanted was a (one) counter or something similar.

If found that when you can't optimize your code, you can level the field with more RAM on the executing Windows box.

I've been experiencing similar thing on the recent desktop flow that I'm building.

It's nothing complex, basically getting some data from web service and writing it into Excel files. For example, if there are 5 excel files, first one is done within one minute, after that it takes 3minute per excel. We are talking about maybe 150 to 200 inputs per table, which is nothing.

I'm using some 'For each' loops and 'Write to excel worksheet' actions. And also I tried to arrange the flow to smaller subflow sections, because it is suggested it would bring up the speed.

I'm running that on virtual machines. Only on one machine I get some decent speed results.

I've experienced a slow down in runtime after updating to 2.22 as well.

I've found the main problem in my flow. My computer had a tool for malware detection; when I shut this tool, the flow became very fast. On the other hand, Klaus has right about memory leaks using variables wisely critical for the flow. I need to consider optimizing the code after I finish the flow.

Running on a virtual machine is a good option for speed like
