When attempting to launch DRAGON NATURALLY SPEAKING rec'd error message: "Failed to Launch UI Automation Server, Elevation Required"

I am a novice in this area.  Will the Power Automate Desktop assist me to solve the identified problem stated above, in the Subject-line ... OR ... is the error message referring to a matter not dealt with the the app "Power Automate Desktop"?   

 

Background:  I recently moved my program-files and my data-files to a new DELL computer.  This new computer has a "C-drive" on which all programs are placed AND a "D-Drive' on which all data files are held.   Now I cannot launch "Dragon" and get the error message stated above. 

 

On the web I found reference to 'two possible causes': [1] Either the window name of the application or the underlying structure of the element has changed.  Therefore, the UI selector initially used to locate the elemnt is no longer applicable.   Suggested resolution: "Edit the UI Selector of the elements to create a new more robust UI selector, that will be able to locate the element even if the window name or the underlying structure of the element is dynamic.  Any parts of the selector that are dynamic should be removed."    [2]  The application runs with more elevated privileges that Power Automate Desktop.  Suggested solution: Both the application and PAD (I do not know what a PAD is) should run with the same privileges.  Power Automate Desktop does nto run elevated by default.  Hence, uncheck the "Run this program as an administrator' checkbox in the Compatibility section of the applications Properties window."

Thank you for reviewing this.  There was nothing specific that said the error arose/was related to PAD, but the issue seemed to relate to an issue PAD was designed to solve.  Perhaps NOT SO, as I eventually solved this problem as follows:

1) I downloaded the installation program for Dragon Version 15, but did not install it immediately.

2) In stead I first deleted Dragon Version 15 from my computer ... the version that would not open..

3) I then reinstalled an earlier version, namely Dragon Version 12 [which I had upgraded the copy of Version 15 which would no longer launch],  and Version 12 was functional. 

4) I then installed the new installation for Dragon Version 15 [which I refer to in point (1) above], indicating that  the new installation as purchased as an upgrade to Version 12. 

5) This new installation of Version 15 was then functional.   I do NOT KNOW why the previously-installed Version 15 would not launch on my new computer ... but the new installation of Version 15 does launch as expected.

 

So, the problem does seem to related to Dragon Speaking Naturally, though I do not know why this problem arose.

Is there any clue to indicate that the error message above is being caused by PAD (Power Automate Desktop)?

 

After a little search on the net, I became to think that error is occurred at Dragon Naturally Speaking side. What do you think?

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!    This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can.
