Power BI Report for Final Challenge

Hi All,

I am stuck with the Power BI report and unsure how to navigate the Dimdate, including connecting it to the Animal table and using the VAR X. I am also unable to filter the dates to connect them with the table.

I would appreciate any guidance.

@Atinubel2024 Do a measure and do the following:

Method 1 do Animals Rescued = COUNT('Animal''s Data'[Initial Shelter])

Remember all animals in the Shelter are rescued animals so all you need to do is do a count on the initial shelter column and then find out which Shelter has the most animals rescued

Method 2 which is different from the above depending on how you interpret it is that you go by the animal current location. You can do 

Animals Rescued = COUNT('Animal''s Data'[Animal Current Location]).

What this does is that it goes to that column and counts how many times each animal's current location appears and then it groups it

I think the Total numbers of animals fostered should be the sum of animals "In foster Home", "Adopted"(cos they were previously fostered before adoption), "Ready for Adoption", "Claimed for Adoption". 

The requirements state that Animals that were fostered

Can you tell exactly what relationships exists between animal table and dimdate

I think that should be date of arrival, move the date of arrival to the dim date in the model view

I used the new card visual to compare the two variables, I used a pie chart
