Emails from Outlook via Flow - question on conditions

Hi

In my job I have a process set up using a daily Outlook calendar event and VBA to send a daily email to a client. This is prone to falling over sometimes due to the way it is set up, failures mostly due to issues with the PC that it is running on such as restarts due to windows updates or power failures turning the PC off.

I am wanting to replace this with an email directly from Flow if it can be more reliable. I have been unable to get the flow to work if sending an email from 'Email' but have got it working using Outlook. My question is, what conditions need to send an email with Flow using Outlook 365 or Outlook.com? The email itself is static text so does not need to attach a file or anything. Does still need to be a PC with me logged into Microsoft turned on and running for the flow to run or if the PC restarted would the email still run?

Hi @SML_Analyst,

Microsoft Flow is a SaaS service, there is no need to keep a PC running all the time, or keep logged in with Microsoft Flow.

Once the Flow is setup, it will run on the triggers specified.

If I understand the scenario properly, the purpose here is to use Microsoft Flow to send an Email on a Schedule, right?

Some more information, to use office 365 Outlook or Outlook.com, we need first create the connection, which would be added automatucally when you specify the corresponding Action:
