File System Shared or Local Drive Path Errors

Hello,

I am attempting to create a flow in which an email attachment will be sent to a shared network drive, but I am running into the following error:

The file system connection tells me that I am successful as connecting, however I the file path does not populate in the file system. I have tested using C:\test\ to no avail. The on-premise data gateway is active and online. I can't figure out what I could be missing?

I am using "COMPANY"\"Username" for the Username field.

I am using the available template if that matters.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

***As an update*** I determined the path needs to be on the same machine that the gateway resides on. I am able to successfully send a file to a local folder, but am still troubleshooting how to send a file to a network/shared company folder.

Hey @Anonymous 

The seems to be related to Authentication.  Can you re-enter your credential.

You might want to try and updated the data gateway. Then re-creating the connection.

Not an issue with authentication, I didn't realize the local folder should be on the same machine as the gateway. I am able to successfully send a file to a local folder. The issue is now trying to get a file to a network folder. I am struggling to identify what the proper root path should be.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue. I have successfully created a File System connection with the C: folder of the machine where my data gateway exists, but when I replace that with my mapped drive - nothing.  Is it possible to use a mapped drive with the File System connector?

Hey - I figured it out! 

I needed to use the FQDN (fully qualified domain name) in the connection. When it was the C drive "C:" was enough, but for the mapped drive it was something like, "\\server.domain.org\\mappeddrivename$\\rootfolder". (Note the double slashes.). When I used that connection in the flow it allowed me to browse the file area starting at that root folder and when I selected a folder it put that whole address in again followed by "\folder" (note the single slash) and my flow ran successfully.

Mind sending me the exact root folder path (you can of course replace your company name with something random. I can't figure this out...
