SQL: Transform data using Power Query action not working.

Hello!

When attempting to use the Power Automate action: Transform data using Power Query, I get the following error:

AADSTS65001: The user or administrator has not consented to use the application with ID '6204c1d1-4712-4c46-a7d9-3ed63d992682' named 'Microsoft Flow Portal'. Send an interactive authorization request for this user and resource.

What folllows is a sign-in screen that results in a white screen which is endlessly displaying "loading

I looked at the Microsoft Flow Portal app in the Azure Portal, and there is no option too grant either user or admin consent as it is not needed. Has anyone experienced this issue before?

@vissvess I think you mentioned you've had this issue for years, the rest of us this only started about a month or so ago, likely the issue you are having is being caused by something else. have you had your tenant admin do the following Fixed – AADSTS65001: The user or administrator has not consented to use the application with ID – Ni...?

If not give that a shot and then you'd likely need to use the https://flow.microsoft.com/?EnableMakerShellPortalRedirect=false link like the rest of us have to now.

I meant there is the same issue for years unsolved.. I faced this issue recently.

One of my sql connection is working based on @mrdamgoode solution. Other SQL connection is not working.

Thanks @mrdamgoode - kind of unbelievable this is still an issue going on 3 months. Hoping MS will fix this soon. I wasted 10-15 min trying to figure this out before finding this via searching the internet.

Hey all - good news. The fix is in the works on this. It is targeted to start rolling out the last week of September and hopefully be rolled out globally by early/mid-October.

Until then, continue using the URL that @mrdamgoode gave us - https://flow.microsoft.com/?EnableMakerShellPortalRedirect=false - when editing or creating a new flow with the SQL Power Query connector.

It's not working for me neither but only for Azure SQL DBs. It works for SQL Geteway. Actually, I somehow was using this work-around and didn't realize it. What I would do is go to Data -> Connections and click on the SQL Connection. Then I would click on the Flow using this connection, click on the Flow which would then open up the Flows portal. I believe, here is where it would switch to the old URL. Funny I never realized 😄

Regardless, it still doesn't work for Azure SQL DB. Don't know if it ever did because this is the first time using Transform with it. Hopefully it will get fixed end of this month.

I have growing concerns that this won't be fixed by the time they make the migration permanent. 

https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/?EnableMakerShellPortalRedirect=false still works, but notice at the top now reads: "The URL flag you are using is going to be invalid soon. Ensure that you address this issue immediately."

Unfortunately PowerQuery is still throwing the error using the new url path.

I had a problem with 'Transform data using Power Query' showing the blank screen that would never load in the user interface. 

But I was able to get past this issue by changing Authentication type from 'Windows Authentication (Non Shared)' to 'Windows Authentication' in SQL Server connections.  Once I did that my Power Query interface loaded after a few seconds.  Hope this helps someone.
