Failed to validate the signature of the actionable message card

I am unable to understand why a user started receiving the following error message:

"Failed to validate the signature of the actionable message card."

Do you have any suggestions for me?

Thanks

I am hitting the same error, and hope to know if there is anything I can do to fix it. Thank you!

I'm also having this problem.  I'm only using the standard approval emails that are built into the approvals action - I have not created any custom approval actions.  So far I've only heard of it happening for one approver, but it doesn't happen consistently, and there's no other common denominator.  The workaround is for the approver to go to the Power Automate | Action items | Approvals menu and approve from there, and so far that has always worked.  But it would be great if the approver could use the emails reliably.

Is there any solution for this? I also encounter this error in one of my flow.

Anyone got the solution for this issue?

Hi everyone. I believe this was resolved on its own and I never found a root cause or solution. Sorry.

We are having the same issue, we tried everything to resolve it but no luck.

Hi all,

Not sure if this is related but thought I would post just in case.

I was having this issue also but remembered that I had updated one of my flows recently. It seemed that any outstanding approvals before I made the change came up with this message when they tried to approve. Any new / resubmitted approvals worked fine.

I've not had the message since... I apprciate this may not be relevant to people who simply leave their flows alone and this is happening but may help a few.

I can tell you that I did not do anything different other than walk away from the workflows for about an hour and the error is now gone. Nothing changed so still not sure what caused it.

I can however tell you I received the below error around the same time and it was resolved by waiting for my flow to "catch up" so to speak with my approvals, meaning wait to approve the email approval for 2-3 minutes after receiving it as I was approving to fast and the wait for approval step I used hadn't fired yet.

ApprovalSubscriptionNotAllowed

'Cannot wait on this approval in its current state.'.

By the time the "Wait for an approval" action executed, the approval had already been completed. Only active approvals can be waited upon by this action.

Sharepoint now think I'am remove myself on it

Please help and advice what else I need to do

I'm also facing same issue on (2022-12-27) but I'm able to approve or reject the request on teams notification. I'm not sure what's wrong with the workflow but It was running fine till (2022-12-25). Did Microsoft provided any updates on power automate?

Please suggest if we need to change something with the approval action in the flow.

Yep, I'm also encountering this issue as of today with one of my customers' flows which worked fine before.

Looks like it's something on Microsoft's side so I guess the best option is to just wait and see if it goes away on its own, like it seems to have done when people had this problem earlier this year.
