Flow Not Triggering For Other Users

Hi,

I needed to integrate Box Drive with SharePoint online. When a file is created in a Box folder then the Flow copy and uploads that file into SharePoint. Flow starts with the trigger 'When a file is created' in a Box folder. For me, the flow owner, it's working fine(When I create a file inside Box folder, Flow uploads that file into SharePoint). But for other users(We have more than 1000 users), the flow is not getting triggered.

This is the sample of the flow I've created.

Do I have to give permission to users or something? Am I missing anything here?

Under Show advanced options do you see Run as or something similar .

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please make sure you have shared this folder with other users and they have permission to upload files in this folder.

In addition, please make sure that the file is added to the parent folder. If you add the file to the subfolder, this Flow will not be triggered.

Yeah, it seemed I didn't share the folders from box. And as you mentioned it's not triggering for the sub folders. So I had to use Apply to Each to trigger all the sub folders. And now it's working fine so far.

Hi @v-bacao-msft . One more thing I'm trying to accomplish here. After creating document in sharepoint successfully, I'm trying to send a notification email to the user who uploaded the file in box. But I can't get the Box login user email in the flow. Is there any way to get the Box user login email here in this flow?

How did you use Apply to Each to trigger all the subfolders?

I am trying to create a flow that sends an email when a new file is uploaded to Box. The issue is that this only works for files in the specific folder and not any of its subfolders.

My Box folder has a ton of subfolders so I am looking for a solution that doesn't require creating a ton of flows to do the same thing for each subfolder.
