MS TEAMS + One Drive + Excel + MS Teams

Now I want to create a flow to fetch the row information into MS teams

Example: Excel file

Array Name Serial Number

Sample_1	SN1432
Sample_3	SN1499
Sample_2	SN1942

When I mention an input with @ Sample_1 in MS Team channel, it has to go through below flow.

MS Teams (Input channel) -- > One drive -- > EXCEL FILE -- > MS Teams (Output same channel)

Array Name Serial Number

Sample_1

SN1432

I have tried with below flow, but not getting output

Can someone help me how to how to create this flow? I am new to power automate.

Hi!

Did you chose 'Message body content' for your ODATA Filter expression?

Also, is your Excel column name 'Array' or 'Array Name'?

I have chosen "Message body content"  in Filter query.

I have changed the Excel column name to 'Array' but still, the output is Empty.

Hi!

Did you inspect 'List rows present in a table' output on your last execution, to doublecheck if it is also empty? If it is, my suggestion is:

-to temporarily remove ODATA filter, for troubleshooting purposes

-to temporarily add a 'TErminate' action block just after the SElect, also for testing purposes

-to run again the flow, inspect 'List rows present in a table output' and doublecheck 'Array column internal name, just in case it does not match with the one currently displayed

If it isn't empty, then the problem is most likely in the Select action block design

Please find the Output from 'List rows present in a table' it is showing empty. I most like suspect the issue with the 'List rows present in a table'. I am not sue if I am correct, using the 'Message body content' in Filter query. 

As per my understanding, the value posted in teams(Sample_1) is getting used in Filter queries. Correct me if I am wrong.

Hi @srinivas02 ,

Could you please tell us why you want to use Message Body Content Type as a filter condition?

It seems that its value does not equal to Array Name. Generally, its value is “text”.

Maybe you need to use Message body content as a filter condition.

Besides, you could use Compose to output Message body content and check if its value is as expected.

I am facing 2 challenges looking for options.

1. With what action I need to replace. When I do a slight change of move the Excel file to a share point. To be clear (MS TEAMS+ Sharepoint + Excel + MS Teams). I want to move the Excel file from my own One drive(Bussiness) to team accessible SharePoint.

2. When I try to post a message in MS Teams(channel) as input with copy past data. It is not taking as an input, which was actually posted. It is clearly showing as a copy of the content.

You could use Html to Text to remove Html tag from the body message.
