When I created a relationship between date loan start and date, the data from the school year and month disappeared from my matrix graph. Does anyone know why or how to fix it? I've tried deleting and recreating both the relationship and the graph, but still the same issue.

That worked for me too! I wonder if I will ever be able to help peoples as much as you just did!
Thank you so much for sharing. I tried going back to redo it as I was sure I was doing something wrong, when it failed again I looked here and was very grateful to find your solution.
Thank you so much. change date to short on the Table view for DimDate then clicking the three dots ... next to loans table in the table view then click edit query then change date column pu_loanstartdate to date then to short then click close and apply. worked like a charm... thank you.. thank you.. thank you.. side note: don't forget to also right clicked the items in your rows pane of my visuals to show items with no data
I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say that this worked for me! Thanks a bunch for your help, I really appreciate it!
I followed everything and reviewed several times. Still unable to see the desirable result. I am wondering why almost everyone facing the problem resolved it where I am still struggling 😞
ahhhhhhhhhhh at last resolved. Figured out my mistake.
