Updating File property based on SharePoint list using extracted AI Builder Information

Within Power Automate, I am currently working on using information extracted from an AI Model built using AI Builder to be able to update a Vendor property on a file in SharePoint. The Vendor property is attached to a SharePoint list and I was wondering if there was a way to connect to use the AI's extracted information to select a vendor from the SharePoint list so that I could update the property.

UPDATE: For context. I am using "Extract information from documents" from the AI builder choices to pull to read the Vendor name as text. From there I am using "Update file properties" to try to get the Vendor ID, but it won't let me select Vendor Value based on the AI extracted information because that property pulls from a SharePoint list.

I was using the update file properties but the issue is I do not see a way to take the text pulled from the AI Builder when the Vendor property uses a drop down menu based off a SharePoint list. I don't see a way that the AI Builder's information can be used to select which property to choose.

Hi @ecombs ,

From AI Builder, you can't read/set a SharePoint list property, you can just extract what's visible inside a document. The only thing you could do is to read/set this property using flow connectors. So if you need to set a SharePoint file property using a value extracted by AI Builder from a document's test, that could be possible through flow logic and the update file properties action. Don't hesitate to share screenshots of your flow if you think that could be helpful.

My issue just was I had to pay attention to which ID I was using as there are multiple depending on the action. The first ID is based off the get file trigger and the second ID is based on the get items action directly above it.
