Hi everyone,
I checked thread in this community, seems as now multiply page table is still in experiment, so for those cases which has table over 1 page, I was suggested to use simple table on each page to retrieve data.
But I found all tables could be identified by Ai builder quick test, but could not get the 2nd table's data from Power Automate (Always shows the length of 2nd table is 0 no matter there were more than 1 row data in that table).
Can anybody advise? Thanks.

Thanks @Roger_Katsu for your time to talk today and congrats on the nice automation solution you are building!
For future readers that might experience this issue, it was caused because the Pages feature was activated and therefore the last page was not processed.
Hi @Roger_Katsu,
Thanks for the question!
In this following page you will find information at the various options available today to process multipage tables in AI Builder: Process multipage tables in form processing (experimental) - AI Builder | Microsoft Docs
From your use case, it seems you might need to take this approach: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/ai-builder/form-processing-multipage#use-a-cloud-flow-to-process-al...
Hope this helps and let us know if you have further questions!
@JoeF-MSFT Thanks for your reply.
For my case, my PDF has 3 pages, the 1st page only has some summaries, and details are in one table accross page2 and page3. I defined 1st simple page table in page 2, and 2nd simple page table in page 3. Before I add 1st and 2nd table entries to array, I need to use if condition to check table is not equal to null and length(table) > 0 to make sure there is one or two available tables to process.
My problem is no matter how many data in 2nd table, the length(2nd table) function always return 0, that cause I could not get the 2nd table data to put them into array variable.
Do you have any idea on this? Thanks.
Regards
Roger
Thanks @Roger_Katsu.
Did you tag the second page table using the experimental multi-page feature? How many documents did you use for training where there are tables than span across two pages? Adding more samples to training where tables span across multiple pages can help the model better detect the table on the second page.
No, as I mentioned in my thread, I just defined 2 simple page table for a table over 2 pages (1 simple page table for 1 page), without experiment multi-page feature activated.
I trained 5 docs for 1 simple page table and 5 docs for 2 simple page table.
After I finished the training, I did a QUICK TEST, and the model did well on both 1 page table and 2 page table.
But after I invoked the model from a Power Automate Flow, no matter how many data in table#2, the length(table #2) just return 0, that means no table#2 data has been passed to Power Automate flow. Meanwhile length(table#1) returned the right row count.
So I guess maybe there is a bug that causes only 1 simple table for 1 PDF could be passed to Power Automate flow?
Will appreciate if you could help to figure it out.
Let me know, if we can have a ZOOM call so that I can share my desktop to help you better understand my case.
Thanks.
Got it, thanks @Roger_Katsu! Could you share a screenshot of how you built your flow?
Hi @JoeF-MSFT ,here is the screen shot of my flow.
And below is the screenshot for the quick test of my Model on table#2, you can see actually there are rows in the table#2.
Regards,
Roger
Thanks @Roger_Katsu for the nice screenshots. Indeed this looks strange. I've sent you a private message to gather more info so we can investigate what might be causing this.
