Hi All,

When making changes to the Items property of a Combo Box control, some properties will reset automatically. Two of them are the DisplayFields and the SearchFields properties. The first one defines which fields are displayed and the second one which field(s) are included in when searching.

In case you run into a situation where the combo box is giving you blank values, select it, in the properties pane select Edit fields and then select the fields you want to display / search. For this exercise they should be set to Full Name:

Nvm I solved it 😄

same problem here .. can you please help us?

Hi @Aala_95 ,

You can either solve this by:

  1. deleting the form and then adding the fields again, but this time make sure you add it in the same order as the video OR
  2. by deleting the checkout screen: After deleting the checkout screen, remove the formula below from the Checkout Book button (On Select) and click save, before creating a new checkout screen.

Navigate('Check-Out Screen');NewForm(CheckOut_Form)

Then after creating the new checkout screen (follow in the same order as the video to add form and fields), go back to the home screen and input the formula in the Checkout Book button. Ensure that you choose 'On Select' from the drop-down list on the top left as shown in the image below, and that the formula is written correctly. I hope it works for you.

Hi @Oyin

thanks for your help, and I go for the second option I deleted the check-out screen and do the steps as the video but unfortunately the result is same the student and book drop down not appears.

any other suggestions?!

Hi @Aala_95 , after removing the button formula as in the second option, did you save the app before creating a new check out screen?

@Oyin

yes I deleted the check-out button and the check-out screen then I save it .. after that first I add check-out button in the home screen and then added second screen and form,, known that after every step I save changes.

@Oyin This the only difference between my app and what was in video he have 8 selected fields . he have created on field and i have student email and student full name. I remove them when he remove the created on, and all other steps is the same !!

take a look to the fields is 9 selected fieldstake a look to the fields is 9 selected fields

If you are using this formula:

Navigate('Check-Out Screen');NewForm(CheckOut_Form)

then you need to rename your form. From your screenshot, I can see that your form is named Form1 instead of CheckOut_Form.

Can I ask how you solved it.  Seem to be having the same problem.  Thanks!
