Action move file failed . Bad Request

Hello everyone,

I'm currently encountering an issue with the flow. My requirement involves publishing a new version of a document in lib1. The flow is triggered when an item in a list is modified. It checks a condition, and if true, it creates a file in lib1 and updates the file properties from the list. Subsequently, it generates a file for lib2 and then moves the file from lib2 to lib1 by performing a replacement.

The objective is to ensure that each time the condition is met, a file is created both in lib1 and lib2. If a file already exists in lib2, it should be replaced with the new version. However, I'm uncertain whether my current approach in the flow is correct or not.

Could you please review the attached flow and provide your insights?

Thank you for the response 

the error msg indicates Bad Request

I'm not sure which identifier to choose in Move_File. I have chosen to create file2 with the id lib2 and moved it to lib1

Bad Request is not the error message. You need to scroll down and look at the Output Body of this action. You should also see that one at the right side of your flow but on the screenshot both is cut off.

Could you share the screenshots of two libraries where files are being moved from and to , also is there is any column having datatype as Choice ?

This is the whole flow

My goal is to publish the updated version in lib1. To replace the current version, I created a new file in lib2, and then I replaced it with the version in lib1. Both libraries have a 'status' column which should be set as final. let me know if you need any other information

I asked for screenshots of both sharepoint libraries folders as error indicates there is a mismatch in the datatype of any columns 🙂

There seems to be datatype mismatch in final destination folder, is there any column of the type Choice ?

There is a choice field column named as Re-review 

Re_x002d_review

which contains yes or no as choices, but it is not in the destination folder (published), it is in the Source Storage folder. 

Do I need to create the same column in published storage ?

Yes , as per the error, it is saying that column is missing or datatype of review column is mismatched, I think you need to add in published storage the choice column
