Add a new column in the SharePoint list using Get user profile (V2)

Hi, I've a list with two columns - user name and user email address. I would like to add a third column "Nick name," which is different from the display name. Please note there is no ID column. After reading a few posts, I tried "Get user profile (V2)" by passing the email address manually in the "User (UPN)" field and adding a parameter "mailNickname" in select fields. This did provide what I needed, but how do I automatically add a new column and link it with each user name or email that exists in the SharePoint list. I tried "get item," "generate ID", "update item," and "for each item," and "variable" options, but I don't think I have understood it fully yet. Could someone please help with a flow to add a new column in the SharePoint by extracting "mailNickname" from get user profile (v2) for each user name in the email address?

Flow in details:

After flow runs, Nick Name column will be updated.

Hi @v-LilyW-msft , thank you so much for helping out. I tried the above steps, but I am getting two errors. (1) OData filter error, which I could ignore and run the flow (2) Bad Request - Error in query syntax. I have not made any other changes and used the same column names too. However, I noticed that "Title" field is not mandatory in your screenshot, whereas in my view, it is marked as required. I kept it "Title" itself, which is not part of the table. I also tried "Email" in the "Title" but none of them worked. I am not sure what I am missing or how it is not marked as required in your screenshot.

Could you please provide the screenshots of the Flow configuration?

If you want your Title to be set as not required, you can click list Settings, then click Title, Require that this column contains information select No.

Hi @v-LilyW-msft - Very much appreciate your help. I was able to disable the "title" from the settings, but the problem was in the "Get user profile - UPN" input. It appears there are multiple email addresses in the dynamic list.  The actual column / field name in the list is "Email Address," but that was causing an error. When I changed it to "Emp Name Email,"  the flow ran successfully. Can you kindly clarify why Flow is referring to "Emp Name Email" instead of  "Email Address" so I can avoid such errors in the future?

From the picture you provided, it can be seen that your ‘Email Address’ column is a Person type column, and the Person type column needs to be updated with Person Claims, the email obtained from the profile is equivalent to a text, so it can be filled in the text type column.
