Approval Attachments not Showing in Teams

Hi,

I am currently working on an Approval flow.  Currently I have the flow automatically triggering when a new list item is created in SharePoint.  Each list item is going to have an attachment.  I have retrieved the attachment content and added it to the Approval step as seen in the screenshot below:

Screen Shot 2021-02-12 at 8.55.12 AM.png

When the flow is triggered I get both an approval email as well as an approval request through Teams.  In the email the attachment is there, however in the Teams request there is no attachment.  From my understanding attachments in Teams approvals is currently supported so I am not sure why it is not showing any attachments through Teams.  Thanks!

This is a known issue that Microsoft is working to resolve.  At this point only approvals created in the Teams Approvals app show attachments in Teams.  Approvals created outside the Teams app work normally, but the attachments aren't visible in Teams.

@Pstork1 Has there been any progress made on a resolution? Is there a specific support thread that can be followed on this bug? I appreciate any insight you can provide.

@Pstork1 I appreciate the prompt reply. I'm new to the community...is there a public place where these types of issues are tracked so that anyone interested can follow the progress toward resolution, or the only option is discussing in a thread like this? Thank you!

There really isn't anywhere specific for these kinds of issues.

Are there any updates on this issue? I have had approvals that have attachment for years. The approvals started appearing in Teams Activity, which is great, but I have to tell our employees to approve from email as they will miss seeing the attached document.

Hope this gets fixed ASAP! I have an app using Approvals in testing with a small group of users. Everything is working fine except for the attachments. I'm just waiting for this fix to go into production with over a thousand users.
