Automated Excel Comparison from Email using Filters and Mail Reader

Hello Guys, 

Very new to power automate and I am amazed of its endless possibilities but I am stuck on this:
Can we set up a flow to automate this, every week once an email comes in we need to compare 2 excel files, one from the existing mail and other from another mail (could put both on SharePoint, but the trigger is the mail with a certain subject) and then use filters to see against a specific category on what is missing from both the second file and then send a note on Teams to the user with the list of missing items?
If also possible, once comparing - can we see what is not available and match the user name and send respective users what is missing of their tasks and send teams to each of them?

Secondly can we also set up a flow where it reads incoming mails and once it reads a specific 5 digit number, the flow should search back on an excel to see who corresponds to that 5 digit number and intimate the specific person about an email?

Also, does Excel comparison have a limit of rows?

Hi,

Regarding the first question, I believe the following case can help you start building the flow.

(Bare in mind each excel file should have the information you want to compare in Table format)

When it comes to the second question, I'm assuming the 5 digit number is always related to a person right?
If that's the case I think there's multiple ways of doing it:

1) For each person's 5 digit number you can search in the email body to check if it's present.

e.g: indexOf(outputs('Compose'),'23551')

If there wasn't a match, the output would be -1.

2) If the email follows a specific template/pattern, let's say, like this:

Employee: John
Employee Department: Sales
Employee ID: 23551

You can use functions to extract the number and then find the person associated with it.

3) Consider using Regular Expressions (Regex) through Office Scripts.
