Automatically send email based on Excel data

Hello,

I'm trying to build a Flow that will check daily certain excel and then send a notification to person responsible for that task about approaching dead line. Excel has a table with "Due Date" and "Reponsible" columns.

Problem is that there might be several tasks for one person and the flow I was able to come up with will send one email per task.

What I would want is that the Flow would collect all rows for person "X" and send just one email to that person.
This is the Flow I have now set up.

Hi @mikey_d

you can try something like this as one quick solution option:

- Get Excel Rows

- Find unique Email address and collect them in a array

-Loop through  excel rows for each unique email and send email

Here is a screen capture:

Hello @DeepakS,

could you be so kind and go bit deeper into the details, as that screen capture is not self explanatory for me?

Hello @DeepakS ,

I think I got it otherwise setup, but these three don't yet open to me:

1. Compose of "ForEachEmail"

2020-01-10_12h36_10.png

2. Compose of "If Yes"-condition of "GetEmailsForEachUser"

2020-01-10_12h36_47.png

3. How to set up the email sending via Compose in "SendEmail"?

Dear @DeepakS, have you had time to look at my last questions, thanks?

Hi @mikey_d ,

Please refer to screenshot below to create the flow:

The expression in the Compose as below:

union(array(items('Apply_to_each')?['Reponsible']),variables('Reponsible'))

Hi @Mikey_d,

I need the same flow, as you described in your 1st message.
I just created flow on Alice's pic, but this does not work properly.
Have you finally was able to create needed flow? If yes, could you please share pic?
In my case I only receive multiple emails: 1x with table, 2nd is empty and then cycle runs again and again.
Thanks a lot.

Hi Deepak, is there any way you could break this down into smaller image chunks? It looks ideal for what I'm doing but I can't read some of the detail... 😞

Hello Deepak,

This is Srimanta and i am also facing the same issue as faced by Mikey which he posted on 01-07-2020 subject "Automatically send email based on Excel data" on Power Automate community. I went through the solution that you shared. But unfortunately since the screenshots of the steps that you posted were quite small i could not understand the steps even after zooming in.

Request you to share the flow with the pictures (screenshots) to my mail id: diacto3@westernstates.com so that i am able to solve the issue i am facing.

Thanks.

Srimanta

Hi @v-alzhan-msft,

I have a similar flow but I have one question, I am trying to add some users to the "cc" in Send an email (v2), but seems like I am not able to customize the "cc" based on the same excel table source. anything I can do to make it work?

@DeepakS I have a similar question. I am trying to send an email based on one column (if column N is 'Yes' then send the whole row as an attachment, separately. So if we have 20 cells that have yes, I want all 20 to be send as a separate email.). Is this even possible or I can only send the whole email, not just rows? I tried in a similar way specified here but the flow is running forever and not displaying any results. Please help.

could i possibly get a copy of this detailed flow that i could see, i have the same flow which is not working. i have tried to print this but it comes out very blurry. any help would be appreciated.
