CSV skip rows based on column value

Hi 🙂 

My flow takes CSV file, splits it by lines and than create array. 

I'm able to choose columns that I need in output file and manipulate them but I need to skip all lines that in column 3 contain value different than 243.

How to do it? I guess I should use IF statement somehow, but where how?

According to your description, you want to skip all lines that in column 3 contain value different than 243.

Here are the steps you can refer to , this is my flow:

(1)The first four steps are used to give the data like yours:

Thank you for your answer. I managed to put this together and flow works with no errors but I get no hits. Result array is empty.

This is how I would build a flow to get what you're after. Note that my flow allows the user to select the CSV file as part of the trigger input.

The CSV file I'll upload is shown below.

See full flow below. I'll go into each of the actions.

Manually trigger a flow allows the user to upload a CSV file.

Filter array uses the CSV data to output the relevant rows. Below are the expressions used. Note that you will need to change the Condition to Advanced mode then paste in the expression.

//From - converts the CSV output to text, splits on carriage return and new line, then skips the first row (headers)
skip(split(decodeBase64(triggerBody()['file']['contentBytes']), decodeUriComponent('%0D%0A')), 1)

//Condition - removes any empty rows then excludes rows that don't have 243 in column 3
@and(
    not(equals(item(), '')),
    equals(split(item(), ',')[2], '243')
)

Below is the output you would get from the Filter array.

I'm not sure exactly what you want your final output to be, or what it will be used for. For this example, I've used a Create CSV table to output only a subset of the columns you want. It takes in the output from the Filter array and uses the following expressions to get the values.

//Column 1
split(item(), ',')[0]

//Column 3
split(item(), ',')[2]

//Column 4
split(item(), ',')[3]

//Column 5
split(item(), ',')[4]

You could then use the output from the Create CSV table to save the data into a new CSV file.
