Can't get Adobe Sign URL to populate in Outlook Send Email

Hello,

I have been trying to send an email with an Adobe Sign link in the body. I've created the agreement in Adobe. I retrieve the Signing URL via the connector. This returns an output of signingUrlSetInfos which are comprised of a Signing URL Array and a Sign URL set name.

This is the output in PA.

I'm trying to get the esignUrl.  I have tried the Parse JSON action and can get this as a String.

But when inserted into a Send an Email V2 action, the email sends but where the URL is inserted, it's just blank.

I have tried the Adobe output directly and the Parse JSON output.  I have tried using a compose action and a Set Variable (String).  All produce the same result.  I have even tried composing the body of the email using the HTML and still no link in the email.

If anyone has any insight on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Figured this one out somehow.  So, I think this issue was coming from trying to pull a text string directly from an object/array.  The solution I implemented is as follows.

Initialized an Array Variable to hold the output from a Parse JSON step.  I then created my Agreement in Adobe Sign.

Added a 3 second Delay to give Adobe a chance to create the agreement and generate the signing URL.  I then retrieved the Signing URL.

This produced the body Output below which I fed into a Parse JSON step.

This is where it started to get tricky.  From here, I set my Array Variable, but I pulled out only the 1 instance in the "SigningUrlSetInfos" Array so that I wouldn't do a for Each loop.  Because I'm creating the Agreement each time, there won't be more than one item in this array anyway, at least for my setup.

Now that I had my array variable set, I put in a Compose Action to get me a string value, which I would ultimately use in my Email.  Again, had to select the first item from the array variable, but this time, I also had to get granular to get the "esignURL" from the sub array for Properties.

This finally gave me the Sting object I needed for coding the Hyperlink in my Email body HTML.

Hi, thanks for this. It helped me over a hurdle.

Having gone through the steps I figured we could shorten it down to one compose action: 

first(first(outputs('Retrieve_the_Signing_URL')?['body/signingUrlSetInfos'])?['signingUrls'])?['esignUrl']

Seems to do the trick!
