Combining data arrays

I have two arrays that I am trying to compare while also combing data.  Array1 is the master array and has the most recent data typically. 

Array1

"feature":"feature_ABC",
"data1":"foo",
"data2":""
},

"feature":"feature_CBA",
"data1":"foo"
"data2":"foo_2"
},
{
"feature":"feature_DEF",
"data1":"foo"
"data2":"foo_2"
}

Array2

{
"feature":"feature_ABC",
"data1":"",
"data2":"WXY_1"
},
{
"feature":"feature_XYZ",
"data1":"foo"
"data2":"foo_2"
}

I want combine these arrays into a new array or an existing array works as well.

•  combing the data of `feature_ABC` so data2 is added
• Adding Feature_XYZ while keeping Feature_CBA & Feature_DEF

If I do a union that will just duplicate data. 

I've tried doing a condition, but this always returns false

There's a typo in that screenshot, it should be item() and not title().

Replace the expression title()['feature'] with following

items('Apply_to_each_7')?['feature']

Give a try and let me know if this works or not. For trouble shooting, you can keep these expressions in a Compose action to see the output before the Condition.

Sorry there was a typo in my screenshot, it should have been item()['feature'].

I tried your solution, but it did not work.  It returned false when it should have been true.

Did you place both values in the Compose action to see what values are being compared in the If condition? That will give help to see whether you need to consider following:

a. Do you need to use Equals instead of Contains?

b. Are the values in different case? if so, you may need to apply toLower() function to both the sides.

Can you share your latest screen shot after your try with compose action before If condition.

Thanks @rsaikrishna.. I can't share screenshots because of the data it would show.  I had composes in place before that's how I knew it should be returning true instead of false.  I'm also comparing an element of an array to an array.  

a. I tried both equal and contains

b. the cases are the same.

From your screen shots:

varFeatureArray - Does it contain only strings with feature names or is it an array of objects? 

variable Feature - I am assuming that it contains the name of the feature.

It's an array of objects.   I've tried hardcoding and that also returns false.  

eg.

"feature":"FeatureABC"

}

In Compose 8, replace varFeatureArray with following expression:

join(variables('varFeatureArray'),',')

The above expression converts Array to a long String with all the values. It will be easy to use Contains to check if specific string exists or not.

I figured it out.  I dumped the array into a string variable and then check if it contains or does not contain data.
