Condition based on a Y/N column value - not working as expected

This approach has worked fine in the past, now it does not:

Simple Y/N column in SharePoint list. When an item is created and this Y/N column is set to Yes, Send an Email. That's all I'm after here. 

 

Have verified that the data is correct, but the Email is not sent. Has something changed with the Condition control? Is there a better way to do this?

Well, I ended up recreating the Flow from scratch, as there wasn't much to it. Also used "true" as the value in the condition, rather than "Yes".

 

Works perfectly now. Wish I knew what was causing it because rebuilding should not be the solution. 

 

In any case, I'll take it - thanks for the suggestions and replies!

Hi!

Can you please confirm how is your column configured in Sharepoint? Yes/No, choice, single line of text...

Assuming Yes/No, my suggestion is to add the following expression on the right side of your condition replacing current value

 

true

 

In order to add it as a expression, please follow this instructions

Hello Efialttes, and thank you for the reply.

It is a Y/N field in a SharePoint list. I tried the "true" value as an alternate to "Yes" but it is still not working. 

 

 

Hi!

Just for troubleshooting purposes, can you add a dummy Compose action block before the Condition, assign as its input the 'Yes No' column, reexecute the flow, inspect Compose output, and share it?

Here is the result of added the compose action.

It's just not seeing the Yes/True value at all, assumes NO, then terminates.

Not sure why the Condition comes back with Cancelled either

Summer of Solutions | Week 4 Results | Winners will be posted on July 24th

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge!    This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks.  The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.    Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”)   - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024   Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.  You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately.   How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.
