I am building a very simple flow and have created others almost identical to this one and they are working fine. I am attempting to use "List Rows Present In A Table - Excel Online Business" and when I click the first drop-down option "Location" I normally get a list of all the locations I have available. This time however, I received the following error:
Could not retrieve values. The dynamic invocation request failed with error: Unexpected error occurred when calling the ApiHubsRuntime API: 'Microsoft.Azure.ProcessSimple.Data.Entities.Exceptions.ProcessSimpleDataException: The ApiHubsRuntime API call failed with http status code 'GatewayTimeout' and response content '{ "statusCode": 500, "message": "Internal server error", "activityId": "526d7d8b-7e9a-4cba-9110-3108b868d36b" }' at Microsoft.Azure.ProcessSimple.Data.DataProviders.AzureResourceManagerDataProvider.
I checked the Microsoft 365 Status page to see if there were any outages, but everything shows working properly.
Below is a screen shot of the flow:
Is the potential issue the Excel file or the Sharepoint list I plan to update or something else?

Hi @dhaygood73 ,
At this moment, I cannot reproduce the issue. This may be a temporary issue for you.
Can you retrieve the value now?
Best Regards,
Wearsky

Hi Wearsky,
It appears to have been a temporary (24 hour) issue. Thanks for responding. I am accepting your solution.
I got the same problem what does it mean "temporary (24 hour) issue". and how to solve this problem when click file location at first drop down option error came as "Could not retrieve values. The dynamic invocation request failed with error...."
Hi nattakorn,
I don't know that I did anything to fix the issue. After I stopped working on it for the evening and then went back into it the next day everything was working fine. I wish I had a better answer, but that's what happened. Hang in there, you will get things working. PowerAutomate and PowerApps have been great tools to help my company be really productive, so stay with it.
Hi @v-xiaochen-msft ,
I have a similar issue where I'm trying to connect to a particular goal in the scorecard.
I don't get dropdown with the list of goals in my scorecard in Goal ID section, instead I get below error:
Could not retrieve values. The dynamic invocation request failed with error: Unexpected error occurred when calling the ApiHubsRuntime API: 'Microsoft.Azure.ProcessSimple.Data.Entities.Exceptions.ProcessSimpleDataException: The ApiHubsRuntime API call failed with http status code 'InternalServerError' and response content '{ "error": { "code": 500, "message": "The given key was not present in the dictionary. function: ProjectGoalValueAggregations last line: 11", "source": "europe-001.azure-apim.net", "path": "choose[1]\\when[6]\\choose\\when[1]", "policyId": "", "clientRequestId": "cc7b6f29-b15f-4575-8e8c-d48cd6fd37a4" } }' at Microsoft.Azure.ProcessSimple.Data.DataProviders.AzureResourceManagerDataProvider.<>c__DisplayClass52_0`2.<<CallAzureResourceManager>b__0>d.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at Microsoft.WindowsAzure.ResourceStack.Common.Algorithms.AsyncRetry.<Retry>d__3`1.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at Microsoft.WindowsAzure.ResourceStack.Common.Algorithms.AsyncRetry.<Retry>d__3`1.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.ConfiguredTaskAwaitable`1.ConfiguredTaskAwaiter.GetResult() at Microsoft.Azure.ProcessSimple.Data.DataProviders.AzureResourceManagerDataProvider.<CallAzureResourceManager>d__52`2.MoveNext()'.
Could you kindly help me with the issue?
Thanks,
Prajna
Hi all,
I am also in this super frustrating situation where I cannot even create new flows for teams after a password change. I tried to force log out, I was even ask to re-authenticate, but I still face the issue. Is there any way to fix it instead of waiting for 24 hours? This is a massive show stopeer for my work, and the implementation of flows for my team, as they cannot be affected this way every time I change a password.
This Error occurres for a particular file, when I am using different file then it's working fine. Why....
?
I navigated away from Power Automate and closed the app. When I returned, it worked. Probably just needs the chance to reset it's thinking.
I was experiencing the same error code on and off for about a month, what finally fixed it for me was resizing the table on the excel document. It seemed that once the table became 500+ cells large it was too much for power automate to handle. Once I adjusted the max length to 200 it worked fine and ran no issues. Hope this helps!
That solved my problem! Thanks!
