Create File - Email with line to Word Online

Looking to provide a link to the Word Online viewer after a create file trigger event.

All of the information is available however I need to be able to extract the source Doc ID from the File Identifier field.

Any way to do string manipulation via a Compose action or similar within the email body?

The file identifier unfortunately returns the sourcedoc id with additional text "<sourcedocid>",1  and would like to strip this additional text.

A better solution would be to provide the OnlineViewer URL as part of the FileCreate event.

Based on my understanding, you are trying to use compose action which use the token from previous trigger/action, but it doesn't populate the way you want, right? I'm trying to create similiar flow to understand your problem.

You understand correctly, however the issue is the values are being passed I just need to extract the right information.

i.e the view is based on this format

/_layouts/15/WopiFrame.aspx?sourcedoc=%7BBE643D50-EBBA-435D-9292-14FB7FD9CBF1%7D&file=MyFile.docx

But the [File Identifier] has the format  "{FD63781C-6098-4FD6-A7D4-7A6CF2A0E981},1"

I need to strip the leading " and trialing ,1" 

Unless there is a simple WopiFrame.aspx parameter thaty just uses the passed parameters?

I see, you are using the compose to extract from FD63781C-6098-4FD6-A7D4-7A6CF2A0E981 from "{FD63781C-6098-4FD6-A7D4-7A6CF2A0E981},1", then you might need to refer https://msdn.microsoft.com/library/azure/mt643789.aspx, I would also help you ask the specific syntax for this case, could you also give me the flow url? like https://flow.microsoft.com/manage/flows/80eec1cb-0e8e-42d2-8cd7-7f6e6d5379cc?

Which I guess indicates the substring isn't functioning on results.

Still not fixed,  just to hard so have given up until the product is better UX.
