Create a .csv file that uses UTF-8 character encoding

Hello,

as the title of the subject already suggests: I want to create a .csv file that uses UTF-8 character encoding.

The background is the following:

On a daily basis I retrieve data from Dynamics 365, create a new .csv table and save it in our SharePoint.

For example, if it was a table displaying the past invoices, ideally it would look like

currency, amount, invoice_id, customer_name

EUR, 100, 20514_abc, some_näme

The flow works totally fine so far - however, customer_name from the example above would be displayed as "some_näme" ...

All I got from my research so far is this post and I am still quite lost. What am I missing?

Use the concat expression in a compose action together with the body of the create CSV table action and the Byte order mark. Then e.g. create your .csv file with the output of this compose action.

I can't get it right. The CSV file changes to a 6500 UTF-8. But it shows the table twice. The first one with errors. In addition to UTF-8 format, I must have my CSV file separated by semicolons and the date must be displayed correctly. 

What am I doing wrong.

Please help.

Hi @chanwulee, @dignus93reply and others.

I'm sitting with this issue currently. 

I use a HTTP (GET) call to download a .csv file from an link in an email.

When i use the HTTP call my special characters (æ, ø, å) are encoded as �. And when i open the file through Excel when uploaded into Sharepoint they all have the same encoding (�). 

I'm unsure what to do, can you help?
