Hello all. I have made a flow that duplicates a list, but know I want to delete an item, whenever it is deleted in the "main" list. I am having troubles with this. Can you please help?

So assuming the 2 sharepoint lists have the ID columns in Sync then what you need to do is to use Filter Query on Get Items to get the item from the second list as below then loop and delete

Also wanted to confirm is the 2 list share the ID as the common identifier?
I'm not getting any error, but the solution isn't working.
Yes, both tables share the same ID since one is copying the inputs of the other.
But the ID column is auto-generated so they might not be identical, can you identify another column which is identical.
As Mira_Ghaly said you can't use the default ID to compare list items between 2 different lists as they are system generated and can be different between the lists, also if the rest of the column contents are equal.
If you don't have another column with a unique value then you might want to create a synthetic one and hide that in the view from the users.
Now I understood, I can't use the systems ID to compare tables. For now, I don't have any other field that can be unique, what do you suggest me to create when you talk about a synthetic one?

You could use something like concat("ID_", guid()) and write that in a column e.g. ItemID.
Of course you need to make sure that this column also gets copied when you transfer the data to the second list.
To avoid confusion of users I would remove this column from all views in Sharepoint.
I would suggest to create a new column and call it MainID that keeps that main list Id in the sub list it would make it easier while deleting so your query can be
MainID eq ID
I did what you suggest and create an ItemID that goes on both tables, guaranteeing that I can relate the same fields in the Power Automate. However, I'm not seeing the the ItemID on dynamic fields when I want to do the eq.
The problem is that Power Automate caches the provided fields at the time you create the trigger or action.
There are 2 possible workarounds:
1) Delete the original trigger or action and recreate it (makes a mess with existing dynamic links)
2) Use another field from the dynamic content, cut the dynamic content from the filter line and then use the Expression function to insert and edit the field to the one you need.

I know it is sometimes hard work, but you could also first try to copy the flow an try it out in the copy.

We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities.
