Can someone help with my flow?
Here is my flow, Schedule cloud flow, then “List Folder”, “Foreach”, “Delete Files”, had done a testing, able to delete the files in that specific folder.
Now i need to add the condition which is to delete the files in a specific folder that created more than 5 days. I added the “Condition” and the condition expression, then “Delete File”, it does not work, can anyone help me?
Is it becos of the date format and how to resolve it?
Many thanks!

Hi @Miacmm
Alternativity, you can use "Get file" action & apply filter query to get files which are created past 5 days. Once you have the files, you can iterate using "Apply to each" or "For each" & delete files by passing the identifier.
Here is the sample:
To get the files from specific folder, set the path in 'List Entries to folder' parameter:
Filter query:
FSObjType eq 0 and Created le '@{startOfDay(addDays(utcNow(),-5))}'
Pls copy & paste directly in filter query textbox.
Next, add "Delete file" action to delete the file. Pass the identifier from the get files output. This action will be wrapped inside "Apply to each" on passing file identifier:
If this helps & solves your problem, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.

Hi Manish, thank you so much for the detailed explanation. I did try Get file( properties only) for last few days, and set the path in 'List Entries to folder' parameter. This action did not return any output, i was struggling for few days. In the end I found the ‘List Folders’ work for me. I dont know why?
I found the problems. I used a Test Library with the Limit Entries to Folder empty, it works. But when I Limit Entries to the folder with the folder path, the path is correct, but my Get files(properties only) returns nothing in the body value, and the whole flow is not working again. Do you know why and how?
Hi @Miacmm
It might be due to default pagination size which is 100. Pls try increasing the pagination by navigating to (...)->Settings:
Toggle on 'Pagination' switch & enter the threshold value (100000):
Pls retest the flow after increasing the pagination setting.
If this helps & solves your problem, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.
Yeah, the problems is the Pagination, after set to 100000, it return me the record I am looking for. But after apply the Filter query that you provided, it not working again. The output is empty. There is one file created yesterday and rest were created 5 days ago.
Pls verify the filter query text in the last run instance from flow run history.

It is FSObjType eq 0 and Created le ‘2024-05-02T00:00:00.0000000Z’.
Hi @Miacmm
Pls try the below filter query:
FSObjType eq 0 and Created ge '@{startOfDay(addDays(utcNow(),-5))}'
Pls copy & paste directly in filter query textbox.

It deleted all my files in that sub-folder.
oops, sorry. Pls restore the files from recycle bin. I would suggest pls test the flow in lower environment (dev/test) and once it is stable then move it to prod or update the prod flow.
Could it bcos if the date format issue?
Once run with the Filter Query, the body returns nothing.
In the returned body output the created is this format, example 2024-05-08T01:24:20Z. Then this one is different FSObjType eq 0 and Created le ‘2024-05-02T00:00:00.0000000Z’.
Are you able to help? Or anyone can help, please?
Hi Manish, this solution actually works for me, my Created date is all less than 5 days when I did the testing. I changed it to Modified date, then works fine. Many thanks!
