Document not found

Hi Everyone,

I'm building a flow to create a word document after a row in an excel spreadsheet is updated.   I have the premium power automate but I'm unable to find the word template i loaded in sharepoint in powerautomate.

And the sharepoint site.  I created the two templates and posted them up there.

Any clue what this means . "Use the control Properties to give the control a friendly name that you will use in the Power Automate".   The document has all plain text

When you select a control, you click the properties button, and give the control a meaningful name, this name will be the name that shows up in Power Automate.

Thanks. I've already set that up.  The issue is powerautomate isn't finding the file on sharepoint.  When I point to the sharepoint and the document library everything works but when I click in file I don't see the.dotx.  It doesn't see the file so then I can't add the fields.  I thought it might be a cacheing issue but its been a day that I put the .dotx on sharepoint.

How did you create this Word Doc?

Was it from Blank?

Also how was it added to SharePoint?

Can you try and create a Word Document directly in the SharePoint Doc Library and add a few Template controls (Just to test, to see where the issue resides)

I talked to our IT Help desk and the guy noticed in the blog I was referring to that the guy said to save it as .dotx but when you look at the flow in the blog post it is .doc.  Once i saved it at .doc it worked but the document when its saved on sharepoint isn't a word document.  You have to open it and select word.  I'll try building it in sharepoint as a word template and see how that works.  Also, anyone know how to send the link to the document once the document is created?

I am facing exactly the same problem now on Power Automate. The "Populate a Microsoft Word template" just cant find .dotx and .dotm files. I tried on SharePoint Library/Documents and OneDrive. It can find/see all other files but not .dotx or dotm.

I am sure that I created a template perfectly. But the problem is not how we create the template. The problem is before: cant find the file. I checked the permissions and everything is ok.

Has anyone any idea of this issue?
