Expense Report App Getting Line items from power app table and send it on email.

Hello,

   On the Expense Report App (by @RezaDorrani ) When the expense gets approved, the requestor gets and email notification that the request has been approved. Then I want to send another email to accounting department with a list of "List Items" from that expense request. That way, accounting will receive the (description, cost, and category) of each list item on the expense report that was approved. Please see flow pictures attached.

Hi  @pjramos ,

I think maybe you can reconsider about sending this email to accounting department in another flow with recurrence trigger. Because if you send the email in this flow with trigger when a record is created or modified, accounting will receive email every time there is a new record or any modification happens in this table, and the email will have duplicate part, which is not very ideal. But this depends on you whether you would like to do this in another flow or you still want to do it in this flow.

The three actions you added after the "Send requestor approval email" are pretty fine and the error is only related to the first action "Get item list from expense report approved".

We need to know the data type of approved status column in your table and we need to check your flow design for this specific action to better understand your question and do the test.

Let’s say the approve status column from your side is a kind of choice column, then you can refer to my below example:

 In my Dataverse table, I have a choice column named approval_status, and it is using the global choice inside my Dataverse:

The choice “approved” has the value of “0”, so, in my flow’s list rows action, I will use below filter query to filter all of the items with approved status:

Filter rows:

Column logic name eq string(0)

The string(0) is to convert the int number 0 to string data so that flow can do the compare. As to the column logic name, you can copy in below steps:
