Extracting data from an Append to array variable

Hi there

I am trying to extract 6 usernames from an array and then use this within a 'Send an email' step utilising  functions/expressions. The flow is as follows:

Recurrence
Initialise variable (array)
Get Items with two filter queries
Apply to each with Append to array variable within. 

I then get stuck with the expression as there will be 6 usernames I need to extract one by one in to the email. I assume I'll need 6x functions.

Am thinking I need to start the expression with: first(     but then get stuck with the rest.

you could use also the 'Select' action to get all the emails in a single action.

Unfortunately this is proving a little tough for me I'm afraid. I am not understanding the select option.

There will be one email listing 6 users somehow. If I choose the select option, do I need to initialise a variable (array)? Or can I just use the select option?

If you need extract all elements (user names) from array, just transfer array to a single comma-delimited string and place this string to the email body.

Thanks for coming back to me. I'd like to take a step back and explain exactly what I am trying to do and then will share what I have done thus far:
1. Basically I have a SP list called PanelSelectors. A column in that list displays static usersnames in a SharePoint Person/group column. This is the master list of all panel selectors
Some, not all, of the panel selectors vote on a monthly basis. Some may vote more than once.
2. I have another list displaying which panel selectors voted for the month. Some usernames are duplicated as one panel selector may have voted more than once.

What I need to do is collect both lists, compare the usernames/panel selectors of those who have voted (voted list) to those you haven't (master list) and then send a notification with a list of usernames (not duplicated) that have not voted for the month.
