Extracting newest zip file added to SharePoint folder to another folder.

I have created a flow that looks for an email sent by a specific address, and then takes the attachment and lands it in a SharePoint folder for zip files.  Then Extracts zip file to another SharePoint folder.  It works well.  Except, in the Extract flow, it asks for a complete path, including file name.  The problem is, the file name changes, depending on the date.  How can I get this to run when the only consistent part of the naming convention is "report_".  After the underscore there is either a date or a date range.

Anyone know how to get around this?

Thanks.

You can actually use the path dynamic content as well:

Can you use the dynamic content from the action that is taking the attachment and putting it in the SharePoint folder? I would think it would have what the file name is

the issue is the name changes every time the file drops.

The path only works if I add a specific file.  Trying to get it to use the most recent file added to the zip folder.

Can you post a screenshot or an export of the flow here? I can take a look

What I said before should still be true then, you have created the file in the step before "Extract folder". You have the file name in the dynamic content from creating that file. after the last forward slash in your source file path delete everything other than .zip , in your dynamic content, select the name of the file you created in the "create file" action.

Added a Last Modified dynamic action to the source path.  Testing now.

You won't want to use last modified, use the file name dynamic content

I'm new to this. So, sorry for the silly question, but can you show me what you mean by "use the file name dynamic content."

Getting a Not Found error.

delete the entire path if you are going to use the dynamic content for the path. delete this:

in the Dynamic path, do I add the path here?

outputs('Create_file')?['body/Path']

no, that will give you the path.

Dynamic content is exactly that, content that is dynamic, it changes based on the flow and the actions it is referencing. So when you select a piece of dynamic content, in this case the path, it will load that path into the flow based on the create file action you selected it from.

So just delete everything out of that source file area and then click on the lightning , dynamic content and under the create file header there is the path dynamic content. Select that and it will put it in the source file location

Did it again.  The exact way your example showed.  It ran.  Not sure how, as I did not specify what folder to look in.  Voodoo?

that is how dynamic content works 🙂

It knows what the folder path is because it got it from the create file action.
