Filter array not working

Hello,

I have a problem with my Flow. This Flow sends an email to the Managers so that they receive a list of which employees are undergoing training at the time they are taking the training.

When compiling this list, the participants are selected and placed in an Array.

Then I want to filter this Array by location. Then I always get an empty Output.

It says that it cannot find the property.

What am I doing wrong and can you help me with this?

Regards,

Jacob

Hello,

That is certainly a lot of variables, but it is a flow in development.

I have now got the filtering working. I have added an extra Apply to each. This gives me a correct Array containing all participants and their location. This way I can send a letter to the managers of the different location so that they know which employees at this location are undergoing training.

I will definitely watch your videos to optimize this flow.

In any case, thanks for your advice.

Use item()?['location'] in the Filter array action.

Welcome to my web site.

@Bosgraj I wouldn't recommend nesting a Get Items action inside an Apply to Each action. Instead, you should run the Get Items action outside of the Apply to Each. This way you aren't calling the Get Items action on the same SP List multiple times in your flow. Call it once, then use the Filter Array action to filter the items you need.

Can you share a full screenshot of your flow? In the meantime, please refer to this YT Tutorial for more information on the Filter Array action: Are you using the Microsoft Power Automate Filter Action wrong?

Thank you for the answer. But that did not solve the problem.

I stil get the error that it cannot find the location poperty.

Thank you for you reply. I looked quick to you YT channel. Quit intresting.

In my Flow I must need info from 4 SPlists. That is why I got several Apply Each tot make the search smaller.

I made a ful screen shot from my Flow.

I hope you can help me further.

@Bosgraj That's an awful lot of variables you are using in your flow. I'm unclear on the purpose of the Get File Content action in your flow. Can you clearly outline your requirements in your flow? It looks like you are trying to return values from a 3 different SP lists. Can you provided more insights on how each list is connected to each other?
