Find Meeting Times (V2) giving wrong outputs and ignoring start time input

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to create a flow that finds meeting times and then creates a meeting.

To find the meeting times I'm using "Find Meeting Times (V2)": https://docs.microsoft.com/de-de/connectors/office365/#find-meeting-times-(v2)

As shown in the screenshot I have that input. However the action outputs wrong meeting time suggestions.
Why does the action ignore my input and uses the current time instead?

Have you only seen this once, or is this happening for different combinations of people with that action?

I have tried to reproduce this behaviour but I wasn't able to unfortunately.

Hi @Expiscornovus, thanks for the quick reply.
Since this flow is under construction, I've only tried it with me and my colleague.

I think the main problem is the day the action chooses to look for meeting times.
I wanted a meeting for tomorrow (2022-02-08) between 8.00 and 16.00, but for some reason the action uses today (2022-02-07).

I just tried again with "2022-02-10T08:00:00" as start time and "2022-02-10T16:00:00" as end time.

And again the output suggests meeting times today (2022-02-07) instead of times on the desired date 2022-02-10.

Yes, I understand what the issues is. But I don't know a solution, yet 😁. Definitely also test it with another colleague, if possible. 

What is the amount of free time on for example the 8th. Are you and your colleague fully booked between 08:00 & 16:00. What is the expected outcome as an suggestion? And are you two (or should I say your calendars) located in the same time zone?

Are you manually inputting those dates, or are you using an expression. In my example I was using expressions. Shouldn't really matter for this, but might be worth shot.

I can't tell you 100%, but our calendars should be in the same time zone.
And I just checked both calendars:

- on the 8th possible times would be 8 to 8.30 and between 9.15 and 10.00

- on the 10th possible times would be 8 to 10 and 13.45 to 16.00

Input is this:

Where the variable 'NWT Timestamp' is the following and end time is just 'NWT Timestamp' plus 8 hours.

Having a look on the last run, I had this:

The actions output had meeting time suggestions from the current time, until tomorrow.

Looking at the unformatted input and output:

It might be my input for start and end time is wrong, but I don't know what format it should be then?
And I'm not sure if the date in the header of te output (marked yellow) is of importance.

I also tried it with only me as required attendee and my colleague creating the meeting, but the action still seems to ignore my input of start and end time.

Hi @efl,

I see the ActivityDomain field for you is empty. Can you set that Work as a test?

Wow, looks like this was the cause. Changing the activity domain to work solved the problem of what day is used to find the meeting.

i have a problem with a similar flow. After a forms is submitted, it should search in the calendar of both attendees for free meeting times. Afterwards a meeting has to be created. Unfortunately it always books meetings on already existing meetings. Do you have any idea how to fix this?

The timezone could be a problem, when the action looks for a meeting with the wrong timezone.
