Flow error due to Input filed datatype wrong

Hi There, 

I Have SharePoint excel which contains one table. On which one column contains date as cell format.

Now I want to compare if the Excel cell column value is equal to today i want to send email that contains that specific row as HTML Table. This was my requirement.

Im in the middle of my flow and i was unable to compare the current date with excel date. Ref. screen shot attached for your information. Kindly check and study and provide solutions for the same.

Looking for an immediate solution and same would be highly appreciated

It looks like you are using the output of the Convert Timezone action as the input of your Apply to Each. This won't work. Your apply to each must use the Value of the List Rows action as its input and your convert time zone has to be INSIDE the apply to each.

Additionally to @selfy100 

1. Have you set the time format in the Excel action to ISO 8601?
2. You can already filter rows by today's date in the Excel Get Items action.
3. Do not use a US date format if you want to sort, calculate, or compare to this date. Just use ISO 8601 until another format is really needed - in most cases this isn't necessary at all as Excel, Sharepoint lists etc. will display dates according to their settings.

But I was unclear that what changes needs to be made in my flow to get the output.

Here you go 😉

1. Set the Datetime Format to ISO 8601, otherwise you get ticks.
2. Since the Date's time from Excel is set to 00:00:00.000 here and in the Condition there is a check for equality, I format the Convert time Zone to a custom value  'yyyy-MM-ddT00:00:00.000Z'
3. The input value of Apply to teach is the Dynamic value "List rows present in a table - value (List of items)".
4. I've added a Compose action just to check the date values and its formats (this is not needed).
5. In the condition, the left value is Dynamic value "List rows present in a table - Date".
6. The right value is Dynamic value "Convert time zone - Converted time"

However, a more elegant way would be to use the filter query

Date eq '@{utcNow('yyyy-MM-dd')}'

Strange is, that I don't need the time part here.

This is due to the space in the Excel column name "EDC Date". This list rows action filter can't handle spaces 😞

Either you replace the space in Excel or you take the other approach of fetching all rows and filtering.
