Flow get data from 2 SP lists and sends recurrent montly email

Hello

I need help creating a flow that gets data from 2 SP lists and sends a monthly email to 'subscribers' with key dates/ tasks for that month.

SP List 1 - Email

SP List 2 - Week Start Date, Week End Date, Tasks, Term

I started the flow with the Recurrence, then GetITems for each List:

SP List 1 - Filter Query: Name en '@{null}'

SP List 2 - Filter Query: StartDate lt '@{utcNow()}' and EndDate ge '@{utcNow()}'

Then condition if Name is not null, Send Email but it is not working at all.

The email doesn't even connect now.

Any ideas?

Okay, so, first - I notice your Recurrence is "every 1 minute". Set that to 1 month. I know you're probably doing it for testing purposes, but you can use the "Test" button in the top right hand corner to run it whenever you want. Do that instead.

Next - Name will never be null. Name is usually the filename, though this is a list and there won't be a filename. Do you mean Title? That would make more sense. I am going to assume it should be Title. (If you run your flow, you'll probably see an error telling you that "Name" doesn't exist.)

This is probably what you want.

For the date filter in your other list, you need to make sure you compare them in the same format, so it can understand it. 

Try this:

EndDate ge '@{utcNow('yyyy-MM-dd')}' and StartDate le '@{utcNow('yyyy-MM-dd')}'

So then you want an email to everyone in List 1 (i'll call that Emails), of all the information we've gotten in List 2 (I'll call that Details), right?

I have a super easy way for you to do this 🙂 

Let's create an HTML Table from the details. It's easy - we do it like this:

The "value" is coming from the "Get Items" that was looking at the Details table. You can add as many other Headers as you want - note that there's no space in the "Header"

When we run it, it looks like this:

And now we can cram that into an email, which we'll point at the Emails output. QUESTION, THOUGH: Should the email go out individually, or should all the users be in a single email? (I'll show you how it looks if you do one-at-a-time first).

I'm using "Created By Email", but you'd use the Email column. 

Then I'm using the output from the HTML table in the body.

how to you fix the recurrence? I tried StartTime as 2024-11-17T11:25:00 and Inteval 1 Month but i get an error

You have it set to 2024, you probably want 2023, don't you?
