Flow not running at scheduled times.

Good morning. With the help of another member yesterday @fchopo, I have a flow that works well but ONLY if I run it manually. For some reason, it isn't running as per the recurrence.

I'd be extremely grateful for some assistance. The run schedule are all of the times that I manually tested the flow.

@fchopo @ViditGholam - it's now working. I set the start date to a week in the past, and now the flow is running.

Thank you again for your help and support.

Hello @christopherpm

In which time zone are you? Be careful that the specified times are in UTC!

Hi @fchopo, I am in time zone UTC+0 and they definitely have not run as I would expect.

Please, try to fill in the "start time" field with today's date.

Hope it helps

@fchopo I did originally have a start time in there, but when it wasn't running, I took it out. I have just populated he field again for 5 minutes from now.

@fchopo it still has not run.

hi @christopherpm

  1. Try changing the frequency to per hour or 10 mins so that you know the trigger is working and rechange it again to week
  2. Try making a new schedule flow if you haven't actually build your complete flow development as below.

Hi @ViditGholam, I have changed the frequency for every 10 minutes but again, nothing is running (although I can still run it manually)

hi @christopherpm also try writing your flow trigging time in the start time it self which is 09:40 and don't use "at these hours" "at these mins"

If this resolves your issue please mark this post as answered and hit me a thumps up.

Hello @christopherpm

I just did a test on my side a minute ago, and it worked successfully:

So, my only suggestion would be that you try to recreate the flow.

I also experience this issue, but the accepted solution  of setting a start time in the past seems to unsatisfactory. What if I want to delay the start of the scheduled system?

Unfortunately my only solutions were to remove all starting date/time information , and occasionally turning the flow off and on again.

If anyone has a proper answer to set start in future date/Time still appreciated.

>What if I want to delay the start of the scheduled system?

Just turn off the flow then.

Not ideal , what happen to cases when manually re-starting in the future is not easy or possible  eg. operator is on holidays , sleeping, , out of reach, many flows to be re-started etc .

Ultimately this solution leads to the need to create second app that automates the start of the frist one...

...all avoidable if the start of the scheduling could be deferred to a given future dateTime.
