Hi all,
I am trying to create an automated email to be sent once a new record is created on PowerApps using Dataverse. But when I select the dynamic content it returns the GUID and not the readable values I want.
At the moment I've tried to add "@OData.Community.Display.V1.FormattedValue" to the end of a variable and place it in the email as an Expression as I see others doing the same but with no result.
The image attached here is my current flow - I would be very grateful for any thoughts on how to progress this further.

At the moment my email is resulting in showing nothing at the end. Originally I had a flow of a trigger being "Adding a Dataverse record" connected to send an email, but that would only show me the GUID in the email.
So are you saying I need to place "Get a Row by ID", equate the GUID to the text value between the Trigger and Email ?

Yes, that is correct. I am proposing to place a Get Row by Id action between the trigger and e-mail action.
Would be something like the example below.
Lookup your assettables table name in the dropdown. Enter the tradename property in the row id.

Sorry I must be misunderstanding, below is my current Flow and the resulting email but my result is the GUID. How would I equate that to a name field?

Depends a bit on which fields are available on the Assets Tables table. My guess is that the correct label is probably called Asset Name (value) or something similar like that.
Just to double check, did you use a dynamic content field from the Get Row by ID or from the original trigger action in your Send an Email action? It should be a field listed under the section Get a row by ID.

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge! This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks. The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities. Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”) - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024 Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods. You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately. How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can.
