Flow that send an outlook invitation based on sharepoint list

Hello,
I have a problem with the flow i'm currently building.

I have 2 sharepoint lists the first one is a list of person with their email, and informations about them.
And the second one is a list of event where they must participate with a lookup on my first list of person.

So my first list looks like this

Name	Email	Age
Jack	jack@jack.com	44
Morgan	morgan@morgan.com	33

and the second one

Event	Starting date	End date	person (lookup)
event1	09/04/2020 14:00	09/04/2020 17:00	Jack
event2	10/10/2020 14:00	10/10/2020 20:00	Morgan

What i need to do know is to build a flow that send an outlook invite to the person for the event when an event is add on my second list.
The problem is that i don't know how to get the email of the right person with the lookup column in flow ?
Anyone has a solution ?

Hi!

Can you please share a screenshot from your flow design, and also from your Column configuration in both Sharepoint Lists?

Anyway, if your llokup internal column name is 'person' I believe you can do a 'Get item' on your first list, use as item Id the following expression:

triggerBody()?['person']?['Id']

...but please also note you can select it from the dynamic content value. Now I am sharing a screenshot from one of my flows, my lookup column is called 'LifeCard', I am triggering on items created in 'DeviceModels' List and then performing a 'Get item' on 'LifeCard' List.

Please note a call both the lookup and the second column the same way, but this is just coincidence.

What i want to do is, when a new element is created in the event list, check this element, compare the person column from this list with the first person list and then if the value are the same ( Morgan = morgan in my example) take his mail from the person list to mail him with an invitation to an event with the starting date and ending date from my second list.

In this case i don't know what do do i'm probably wrong about my flow i'm a begginner in this, thanks !

First of all, sorry for the delay

So, assuming the internal column names are the ones you reported, I would suggest to:

-add as the left term the following expression:

triggerBody()?['person']?['Id']

-add as the right term the following expression:

item()?['Name']

-... and select the following operator:

equals

...so you should move "send an email" to the condition true branch
