Flow to review / approve documents

Hi everyone,

Not even sure if this is the right place/tool for what I am trying to do....

Scenario:

Some documents (some built from scratch and some provided externally) saved in SharePoint need to be reviewed by 4-5 peers (not a standard group of people). The problem nowadays is we use emails to keep track of who finishes review and who hasn't, which is tedious and reviewers forget to do their jobs sometime.

Ideally, if Flow/Power Automate could:

• An initiator kicks off the review process, by providing the link to the file in SharePoint, a number of reviewers and a deadline for people to review it by;
• Notifications send to reviewers and initiator, letting them know there is a document pending for their review;
• Reviewers can click on "Approved" or "Rejected" with comments;
• Auto email reminders sent to reviewers daily if they haven't reviewed the document X days before the deadline;
• When all reviewers approved, automatic email sends to the boss for final approval;
• The initiator ends the process

Any direction is appreciated.

Yes using the "Approval" process you can get the result you want. I wrote 2 articles on the topic. I'll go into much more detail there.

Ive read a few of your articles and you know whats cracking with Flows.

I need assistance with these approval flows.

1. Document is uploaded to Sharepoint for review.

2. Approval is triggered (Reviewer 1)

• If rejected, send back to Author to fix changes
  • Once changes made, send back to reviewer 1

3. Once reviewer 1 approves, send to approver 2

• If rejected, send back to Author to fix changes
  • Once changes made, send back to reviewer 1

4. Once Reviewer 2 approves

• Convert docx to PDF
• Create file in Sharepoint with all the file properties from docx

Im sure the do until could work but i just dont quite understand it well enough

Did you make any headway with your particular workflow?  I'll be needing to do the exact same thing!  I'm relatively new to Power Automate - so looking for any short cuts that I can find!
