Flow triggering multiple emails for multiple options field in Shareoint List

I have a flow created to notify when a new item is added to SharePoint Online. The flow is working as intended but in the SharePoint list, I have 2 multiple choice box and when multiple options are selected and submitted, the flow is triggering multiple emails ( 3 emails ) instead of one!.  Ex: So if I select 5 options 5 emails are received .

Any advise using the current triggers ? saw some old threads on this but those are not working due to lot of changes in the current version of the Power Automate . PFA

Hi @skolisetti
From the screenshot, it seems you are using a nested 'Apply to each' (one 'Apply to each' inside another'). Do you really need this complex design? It looks like you need to simplify the design and have just one 'Apply to each', but we would need more information context (i.e. which input hae you assigned to each Apply to each' , which dynamic values you have applied on 'Send an email' current design, what's the format of your multiple choice column (is it a multiperson? other?)
Hope this helps

Efialttes - Actually when i'm not creating the nested 'Apply to each" when i'm selecting the multi select options list column that converts automatically to 'Apply to each' . I'm using the multi select options in my email to send notification to the users. When the multi select options are used in the send email Trigger it turns to 'Apply to each'

Here is the format of the question

Question1: Countries person resided ?

Multi select options list : USA, UK, Brazil, INDIA

Question1: Cities  person resided ?

Multi select options list : VSP, KPHB, Denver,...

@skolisetti Thanx for the additional details!
Let me see if I understood it properly, you have two multioptions columns. Now, let's assume you create a new ite, by selecting 2 values (USA, UK) for Question 1, and 3 values (Washington, Dallas, London) for Question 2. If so, 6 emails are sent instead of one, right?

I guess the issue is, you are answer values to these two columns in your email body / email subject. My suggestion is to delete both apply to each action blocks, then add a 'Send an email' action block and try not to add any value related with these two questions. Retest and verify you will receive just one email.
If you need to send with your email values selected in this two questions, I would suggest you a different approach, like adding two 'Create HTML table' action blocks, and select as its inputs each multioption column name, and finally refeernce both 'Create HTML table' outputs in your email body

Hope this helps

Thanks for the response .

Already did this and this is not my requirement. This will be a standard approach

Do you have screenshot for this ? i dont see HTML table when SharePoint Item Creation triggered

HTML table worked . But in the Email the header name is not aligned to the left is it something we can change ?

Hi @skolisetti
In order to manipulated HTML table formats I am afraid you will need to share 'Create HTML table' output first.
THere are several articles covering HTML table format with power automate, like this one:
https://ryanmaclean365.com/2020/01/29/power-automate-html-table-styling/

If the info from the link is not enough for your purposes, my humble suggestion is:

1.-Mark this current topic as "Solved" by clicking "Accept as a solution". THis way others with the same problem can find a solution faster. Please also note you can even select several responses as solution, even from different community members!

Flow_AcceptSolution.png

2.- Open a new thread for your next question, following the policy: 'One Question, one post'. Please remember to share current 'Create HTML table' output.  This way you have more chances to attrack attention for superusers that are seeking for unanswered topics.

Thanx for your help making this community great!
