Get user name on manually trigger a flow that populates excel spreadsheet

I have a simple 'manually trigger a flow' (button flow). I have an excel spreadsheet that has a column called 'User'. I want the person that started the flow to show up in this 'User' column. 

I selected "User Name" from the dynamic content for my 'user' column but when i run the flow, it's not putting the user name but something that looks like an ID. 

I'm logged into power automate and excel online using my test user account. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

If you are using a button, you can reference User Name from Dynamic properties from the button.  User Name will give you the display name.

The username dynamic content that comes in with the button trigger is encoded.  So to access the actual value you need to decode it from Base64.  The formula will look like this.

decodeBase64(triggerOutputs()['headers']['x-ms-user-name-encoded'])

I tried using the 'User Name' from the dynamic properties and that was giving me the ID number looking string of text instead of the actual user name. I used the forumal from @Pstork1  and it worked like a charm

That worked like a charm. I've seen some videos where they were using button triggers and the 'user name' from the dynamic content worked for them so I was confused as to why it didn't work for me and that I have to use this formula. But appreciate the solution, wasted alot of time looking for an answer!

The clear text user name does show up in the output of the trigger.  But for some reason that's not the value that is used for the dynamic content.  You could still get it, but you would need to manually input the JSON code.

Are you asking the user for the Title as Input in the Manual trigger?  If not, what value are you trying to use for the Title?
