now we have the following ForEach loop to get the items inside the Action :-

actiond.png

then we have the following Switch:-

actiond1.png

so what i understand is that inside the ForEach we get all the 4 items inside the Actions item, then inside the Switch we get the second configs item, which is empty array in our case... but not sure how i formula inside the Switch return Quebec ? as the item which contain the Quebec is the 3rd item inside the Actions and not the second .. i am correct? not sure how the above is working so the formula inside the Switch returned Quebec??

Second question now my formula inside the Switch should extract any thing after the word "Station-", this is working well in the above example,, but if i have the raw value as "Station-st-mary", then instead of getting "st-mary" i will only get "st".. so can anyone advice how i can fix the formula to achieve our requirements ?

Thanks

What is your case condition logic? Looks like something not working. I used Simple If condition and for me, loop ran 4 times and 3rd time, it went in and returned qubec.

@ekarim2020 ok thanks .. so this is my question/confusion,,, how did :-

split(items('Apply_to_each_-_Actions')?['configs'][1],'-')[1]

return Quebec in my case? looks weird to me?!

Thanks

@PrasadAthalye  thanks for the reply, but which Case condition you are talking about?

Thanks

becasue you are reading 2nd index using 1 .. Try config 0th index

split(items('Apply_to_each_-_Actions')?['configs'][0],'-')[1]

You mentioned that you have switch. So what are you comparing in switch? Referring to that condition

@PrasadAthalye  inside the switch i am comparing this:-

body('Apply_to_each_-_Actions')?['type']

any advice on what is going on?

ok. Did you try to change index to 0 as I mentioned above? See below

split(items('Apply_to_each_-_Actions')?['configs'][0],'-')[1]

@PrasadAthalye  why i need to change this,, i am getting the correct result,, but seems wired to me how i am getting the correct result using wrong formula.. as in my case the Configs is located 3rd in the array but i am able to get using index [1] which will get the item in the second place and not in the 3rd.. did you get my point?

Sorry. I am confused on what you are saying. You are running a loop that iterates through actions. When your loop reaches 3rd iteration, you are executing code that extracts configs. So where is the issue? If you refer to my screen shot, loop ran 4 times and only 3rd iteration, it went inside if condition. So I do not see any issue.

Can you tell me which line of code are your referring to where you are able to get the config related to qubec using index 1 ? Note that loop is not running on config collection but it is running on Actions.. If possible, please upload your loop picture...
