Help creating another flow to update existing details in excel

Hi all,

I've set up a flow where filling out a form automatically updates an Excel file and when approvers give their nod, the file will also get updated accordingly.

However, I'm facing a challenge in implementing a feature where once all approvals are secured, an email triggers automatically to notify the finance team for another input of the final payment details and the excel file row will also be updated.

Any help on how do a work around since connecting another form is not supported currently?

How to Get Microsoft Form File Uploads Attached to an Email 📧

The below conditions are just for the attachment of documents and after that the condition below it is only either approved or disapproved

I'd like to incorporate an additional step: once the request is approved, an email trigger will activate. Upon receiving a response to that email, the result will be added to the Excel row containing the all the new details.

When you say: once the request is approved, an email trigger will activate. Do you mean that you want to send an email? If so, then you will need to add a Send an Email action to the Yes branch.

Apologies for the messy flow, the only action inside that is that when the request is rejected it will send a new email that the request was rejected to the person who submitted the request.

@lancequismundo It's a For each (aka Apply to Each) action—not a condition action. The logic doesn't make sense in this case.

You are already using a Condition action to check the outcome—if the Outcome is equal to Approve, you are updating the row with "Approve". This means, an email action should go here, in the YES branch if approved.

If the outcome is not approve (assuming you only have two outcomes—approve or rejected), then a Send an Email action can go into the no branch. 

Alternatively, you can streamline your flow by using variables instead and setting those depending on the outcome. This way, you only require a single Update Row and a single Send an Email action. Variables are like containers that hold values.

First you need to initialize your variables in the root of the flow.

Then you set them in your condition action. You need to Update a Row and Send an Email regardless of the approval outcome. A single action for each is required. Utilize the dynamic content in each action accordingly.
