Http Request get last item

Hello experts.

i have implemented the following in order to get items from a SharePoint list.

Super Simple flow to get more than 5000 SharePoint Items (tachytelic.net)

Since i do not have connections in my App (only collections which i create from the response using the parse json function). i am trying to find a way to Refresh the collection when a new item is created in that list, without getting All it's items .

I have created a second flow similar to this one, but in the ask in powerapps trigger i added the ParentID as parameter.

Is there a way i can 'Add' to the collection only the last created?

When i run this it gets me the first Item!!

Hi @mariaLP1610 ,

If you want to get the last item ,you could add a

$Orderby=ID desc

to sort the list by ID from largest to smallest, something like:

_api/Web/Lists/GetByTitle('TableName')/Items?$Orderby=ID desc &$top=1

Best Regards,

How can i combine the 2 collections to 1?

First collection get all.

Second collection gets Last.

I want to keep the first collection Name

Collection is created based on following schema. (Dummy data)

ClearCollect(
    colCarInventory,
    ForAll(
        Table(ParseJSON(GetCarInventorySPListItems.Run().result).body),
        {
            Year: Value(Value.Year),
            Make: Text(Value.Make),
            Model: Text(Value.Model),
            Sold: Boolean(Value.Sold),
            'Purchase Date': DateValue(Value.'Purchase Date')
        }
    )
)

Hi @mariaLP1610 ,

Just remove the clear.

Collect(
    colCarInventory,
    ForAll(
        Table(ParseJSON(GetCarInventorySPListItems.Run().result).body),
        {
            Year: Value(Value.Year),
            Make: Text(Value.Make),
            Model: Text(Value.Model),
            Sold: Boolean(Value.Sold),
            'Purchase Date': DateValue(Value.'Purchase Date')
        }
    )
)

Since i will be using this code on a button that acts as a 'Refresh Button', i do not want each time the users click to show the items > 1 time in the gallery.

i tried filtering the collection in the gallery with something like Not(ID in colCarInventory)

it did not work

Hi  @mariaLP1610

I really understand that you have more than one issue need to be solved today and I'm surely happy to help you with those, but to better focus on the new problem ,I would advise you to post another thread on the PowerApps community for the issue.

Best Regards,

Yes,

thank you for the help.

I think i figured it out.

Since i am using another flow to create the item when a new request is created, i store the ID in a variable after the respond to a powerapps action.

The following logic seems to be  correct

If( Not "the ID i get from response" in colCarInventory.ID), Collect(.....

And if i click twice nothing happens.

So i guess it works
